We started this month off with the greatly anticipated launch of our Pottery Barn Kids collection, which felt so monumental, and we’re grateful you could all be a part of it. I’m so excited to include some selections from the collection in Faye’s room, and although we shared three layout options for her room, we’re actually moving forward with a fourth unlisted option (stay tuned)! This month, we hit the milestone of renovating this house for two years (time flies), and we finally shared the finished reveal of the exterior of our house. Also notable is the very important test we conducted regarding pebble ice makers, which you won’t want to miss. To top it all off, and despite this cautionary tale about high gloss paint, the study is glossier than ever and, most importantly, finished! Check it out.
Here are some more memorable moments from the month!
After sharing the gradual two-year transformation of the living room, I went and switched up the furniture and decor! Can’t help myself.
Hi, I’m partially dressed for warmer weather and partially dressed for cooler weather because North Carolina isn’t sure if it’s summer or spring.
Faye chose a wallpaper for her room, and we’re running with it!
Who knew a 9′ tree could make all the difference? Shop more faux trees here!
I kid you not, this lip plumper works without the painful sting. They also have brow & lash serums.
This is my new favorite workout tank, which I already have in three different colors!
Here are even more favorites from the month.
This 9-foot tree might just be my favorite faux tree yet.
See how I styled it here.
I have this one in gray & red & olive, and I already want more.
I may or may not have been influenced by an Instagram ad for this perfume, and just trust me… it’s the perfect summertime perfume.
This bed is a favorite from our Pottery Barn Kids collection, and understandably so.
Not only did we demo Faye’s closet and present three new layout options, but we also hosted a wallpaper bracket on Instagram with some of our favorite wallpapers.
Over the weekend, Chris and I hung these string lights in our backyard! Stay tuned for a full tutorial.
I started using this every morning for my pre-workout! It’s significantly lighter than all the other bottles. I have other favorites for my girls and for the gym.
Just put this in our living room with the recent refresh.
Not kidding when I say this lip plumper does not sting. It’s the best kind of tingly. They also have brow & lash serums
I use this for styling my girls’ hair every single morning, and it not only smells delicious, but it’s the perfect consistency.
A summer staple! Such a good length and fit.
Who knew you could have a blow dryer and hair straightener in one? It dries to the root, doesn’t damage hair, and took my hair from wet to dry and styled in about 12 minutes.
Hands down, this is Chris’s very favorite tee, but he shared the full list of favorites here.
This coffee table is the newest addition to our living room, and I love the contrast of the lighter wood with the black metal details.
My girls wear and love these. They sometimes even wear them with socks, lol, which I support.
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

The next project we’re checking off our 2023 project list is the mudroom! This used to be the laundry room until we built out a much bigger, better laundry room upstairs. So, in the meantime, this space has been exclusively Cricket’s room. Cricket will still have a special space here, but we’re transforming this dingy […]
