I remember in February of 2021, we had just finished renovating Faye’s Real-Life Princess Room when we got an email from Pottery Barn initiating a CLJxPottery Barn Kids collection. It was the fastest, easiest, yes. They mentioned that they had been following our renovations for a few years and loved our take on kids’ spaces, and would love for us to imagine what a full kids’ collection would look like. Yes, please. Fast-forward to today, over two years of keeping our lips sealed, and we’re practically bursting with excitement because the collection is officially live and available exclusively at Pottery Barn Kids!
This whole collection is inspired by our own experiences as parents and the pieces we’re drawn to when decorating our kids’ spaces. The result is a collaboration of furniture, textiles, and décor that combines our love of dark-tone woods and traditional silhouettes with the craftsmanship, quality, and design expertise of Pottery Barn Kids.

Function is at the core of this collection. Furniture pieces were thoughtfully crafted to save space or convert as a child grows, ensuring the pieces can be used for years to come. For example, the wall art display doubles as meaningful décor that can showcase a child’s art, favorite prints, or family heirlooms in a stylish frame.
And the reversible quilt and shams feature two designs that can be easily interchanged to update a bedroom’s look and feel.
Knowing that this collection was born out of Faye’s room in our last house feels special, especially since these pieces are going to be populating her current bedroom (hint, hint).
I also really, really wanted to include a mural, even before we had one installed in the study. The peel-and-stick mural wallpaper is the whimsical, charming touch that ties the whole collection together. Currently on a mural kick!
Every single piece in this collection was designed with careful, conscious consideration for all of you. It warms our hearts to know that these pieces will be the backdrop to your little ones’ growing up, and we’re so grateful to you all for your continued love and support. We have the best CLJ Squad.

We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

Where can I purchase the rug?! Love the whole nursery!
I pulled the trigger and ordered the quilt and shams back in August, knowing they were on back order until November. We are expecting a daughter and moved our older daughter into a big girl room and thought these would be perfect. We built the entire vibe of the room around this set, down to the gingham curtains to echo the reverse of the quilt. Finally received quilt and shams yesterday and about cried with disappointment when unpackaging. The embroidery had fuzz all over it, like the products were used, quilting stitching was missing, unraveling in several areas, flowers embroidered on shams are off kilter, and random balls of thread were sewn into the quilt. Overall, cute concept poorly executed. The quality leaves something to be desired especially for the price point. Needless to say, packed it all up and returning. Can do better on Amazon. I have followed CLJ for years…this is kinda disappointing.
Going to be designing my nursery of this collection and colors! Can you please share the blue paint color that used in these photos?

Congratulations! The collection is absolutely beautiful! It’s perfect timing as we’re in the process of updating our daughter’s room. Can I get your advice on what to do if the wall where the mural would be is larger than 9′ mural? Our wall is 14′-2” and I love the look where the path is centered behind the bed against the wall.
