Happy Fall! It’s the most wonderful time of the year. I’m so grateful we live in a place where we get to enjoy all the seasons, even if Winter comes on pretty fast and sticks around for awhile, right now we are knee de. But I’ve learned that more than anything, you can create the magic of any season, even if the weather isn’t cooperating. We sat down as a family over the weekend and we made a collaborative list of our favorite things to do in the fall and made it our official bucket list. It really allows us to make the most of the season because we never stop and think What should we do?! When we have an opportunity, we can jump on any one of these things!
This year we want to:
Make (Grain Free) Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread
Eat tons of Candy Corn + Honey Roasted Peanuts
Stay a Weekend in Jackson Hole
Go to the Pumpkin Patch & Buy the Ugliest Pumpkin
Make a Fall Playlist on Spotify
Decorate the front Porch for Halloween
Take Annual Halloween Costume Photo
Host a Murder Mystery Dinner
Carve Pumpkins with Friends
Find & Press 20 Different Leaves
Watch The Addams Family
Make Pumpkin Chili
Go on a Fall Hike
Go Trick or Treating
Drink a lot of Apple Cider
Decorate Halloween Cookies
I also made a blank one for you to print and fill in, if you’d like!

Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

Even when you don’t want to rip down a wall, you can make that space in your home better. Right now.
The next project we’re checking off our 2023 project list is the mudroom! This used to be the laundry room until we built out a much bigger, better laundry room upstairs. So, in the meantime, this space has been exclusively Cricket’s room. Cricket will still have a special space here, but we’re transforming this dingy […]

Love this post, Julia! Thanks for sharing so many Fall goodies! Just wondering, I saw you post about the Ibotta app on your IG stories this past week and I never got around to using your “Swipe Up” to register and get the $20 bonus… :( is that still a valid offer by chance?
Bake 3 ingredient pumpkin muffins. Visit a pumpkin patch. Costume made (Frida Kahlo). Buy a wreath at Goodwill and rework it into something wonderful and then decorate condo shelf and front door. Watch a scary movie. Celebrate at a costume party. Add burnt orange pillows to living room. Collect acorn tops to make needle felted acorns. Decorate mantle with needle felted pumpkins and acorns I made.
Figure that’s enough about fall and pack and fly to Maui to celebrate non fall and my birthday.
How fun!
Hi Julia! I think the cleaning calendar dates are one day off (Oct. 14 is a Monday) :) Just wanted to let you know!
You know, the calendar is from last year, just linking to it again.
Ah, I didn’t see that it was a link to other posts. Now I remember you doing this last year – great list to make sure all the tasks seem feasible :)
