After Polly’s room reveal we got a lot of questions about where the houndstooth thrifted chair that was in her room! No fear! It’s in Greta’s room now and doesn’t it looks so great in there? After we sold the second bed in her room, there’s a lot more room for a reading chair and dresser and maybe some built-ins around the window. And yes, finally paint the trim in her room.
Other fun things this week:
• Have you watched Derek Delgaudio’s In & of Itself on Hulu (or DO TELL IF YOU’VE SEEN THE SHOW LIVE!) Chris and I watched it this week together and shed a few tears. It was incredible!
• Don’t mind me. Just swooning over the new Kara Mann Collection at CB2. Every. PIECE!
• It me.
• A fresh take on measuring success.
• In the great lighting shake up, where we moved the light that was in the music room to our bathroom and the light that was in our bathroom to the laundry room and the light that was in the laundry room to Polly’s room…the music room was the only space left without a light. I went on deep dive on Amazon and found some amazing budget friendly options.

I agree with Ashley, #10 gets my vote as well. The black drum offers a nice contrast color to the chairs and repeats the brass finish from the sconces. It picks up the black in the hall painting (when seen from the entry) and from one of the guitars. It also offers enough contrast from the hall ceiling lights, while still fitting in with your globe or linen shade “theme” throughout the house.
2 is my favorites. All of my favorites also lost the first round!

Number 2 is my favorite. But I really like the Sputnik too.

Hello Julia, Happy Friday. Ohhhh, I voted but my fave is #3. Wow, the Sputnik is your choice? Buy a few and then choose. I love the music room, so it needs to be special. We just ordered pizza and we’re gonna start watching something, I have seen or heard of the show you mentioned. My fav Hulu Show is The Great ???? imma a sucker for period and sexy. Probably not your fams thing ????????

I saw the show in Los Angeles–took my husband to see it for his birthday quite a few years ago. It made a huge impression on both of us! I still remember the card that I picked out prior to the show that he then said back to me at the end–Rare Bird. It was phenomenal! I haven’t seen the Hulu show yet, but it seems like it is the same as everyone’s reviews have been just like yours!
