This morning’s post included the chalkboard drawing I did this weekend, and the amazing meal Chris prepared, but our Easter weekend was also packed with a lot of other things. Here are a few photos (of mostly Greta because I can’t help myself.)
There were 2 egg hunts, dyeing Easter eggs, and, of course, going to church where we really celebrated what Easter is all about. In fact, Greta got so much candy at her two egg hunts, and she had already busted into the crayons and markers I got her that we decided to forego another Easter basket on Sunday morning. It allowed us to focus the whole day on what was really important. In fact, we might just keep the Easter bunny tradition saved for Easter…Saturday?
What are your Easter traditions??

Gorgeous skirt! Where is it from? We do the baskets and the egg hunts and our “church time” is a family hike where we talk about life. : )

Sounds so nice, April. And my skirt is from Mikarose.

Beautiful family portrait! I always have the best intentions but it’s so easy to get caught up in the moment. Especially when there’s hidden eggs and candy involved!

We have Easter bunny Saturday and Christ Easter Sunday. Love it! Our family is able to celebrate with friends the day before and then have a spiritual high instead of a sugar high at church.
