Now that our rug babies are out in the world, it’s time to give some love to all of our new pillows!
This collection features some really rich colors and textures. The best part? They all mix-and-match beautifully. We really focused on making pairing easy for you by mixing small-scale and large-scale patterns.
I think a velvet pillow is one of the most versatile pieces you can own. The Liza collection is double-sided velvet with a contrast trim that’s just so delightful. I’m always looking for a good velvet pillow for my home, and I’m really happy to have some that I’m proud to put my name on. These are really rich colors in a variety of sizes so you can layer them throughout your rooms, pairing them with each other or one of our other collections of patterned pillows.
The Dinah collection is an assortment of five pillows that add some whimsy to your spaces. While scallops have had their moment, I think we’ll see a resurgence of the ruffle trim. I initially thought of my girls’ rooms when I put this together, but I surprised myself by loving them in my living room and bonus room. With a heathered grid pattern, it’s subtle enough to play with other textures and solids. I love to double up the same lumbar pillow on a bed like a set of shams — so cute for children’s rooms.
To complete the collection, I wanted to add some highly textured nubby pillows that act as more of a “centerpiece” for an assortment. These play nicely against both of the other collections, as the scale of the patterns differentiate the layers.
Someone asked me how I come up with names for these pillows. You’ll probably recognize “Cricket” as our puppy’s name (the pillow features her signature cream, black and brown coat), but the rest of the names are from a list I keep of my favorites. I thought I was done naming my children, but each of these new launches are my “babies” in a way, so I get to use more fun names! Especially Ellery — the pillow with the tassels. I just love that name so much that I had to share it with the world!
So there you have it! A collection of pillows that coordinate beautifully with each other without being too “matchy.” As a plus, they add pops of color and texture (and comfort!) alongside our newest rug line. Which ones will you be adding to your home?
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

A reader recently asked me if I’m starting to fully embrace traditional style and whether we still consider our house to be a “modern Colonial” and why. It was a really great question and so timely — I had really just been thinking about my approach to this home and how my style has changed […]

I love these! I have been looking for pillow covers. Can I just say THANK YOU for making them cotton (I won’t buy polyester or acrylic because I don’t want to add micro plastics to our water supply & I want to minimize plastic in general.) Also, thank you to your partners for making them for sale *without* the insert! Again-trying to cut down on waste. We have great inserts, just need to decide on which covers of yours to buy!
My son’s bestie at daycare is Ellorie!
