You can see our bathroom reveal here! My dress is linked below, but here is my apple watch band, which would also make a great gift!
Mother’s Day is May 9th (just over 2 weeks away) and while my favorite gifts are quality time (last year I asked that we all go on a hike together and it was the best gift!), I also love giving gifts and receiving gifts that are thoughtful. Below, I gathered up 16 gift ideas that I own and love, or are on my wishlist, or I am gifting to a woman I love or admire for the upcoming holiday!
1. Copper Bird Feeder $78 My mom is a big time bird watcher (and she’s converted me!). Every other morning, she goes out and feeds the birds and this beautiful bird feeder would be such an upgrade.
2. Mother’s Day Card $5 Don’t wait to tell her how much she means or that lesson you learned from her.
3. Solid Gold Letter Ring $109 This ring is on my wish list! I’d love the initials of my girls.
4. Live Beautiful Coffee Table Book $30 I asked everyone in the office if a coffee table book is a good gift (or if I just LOVE a receiving a coffee table book myself) and turns out, everyone loves it.
5. Weekender Bag $48 My favorite leather weekender bag (throw in a night away!)
6. Floral Smocked Dress $159 (60% off with code SPREE) My new favorite dress that’s light and feminine and looks good with sneakers.
7. Retinol Reform $88 The product that’s removing my dark spots and wrinkles and dullness overnight 3 times a week!
8. Jade Gua Sha Facial Tool Set $29 Have you started Guasha-ing?! I’ve noticed a difference in puffiness immediately but it has so many other benefits, too! I’m into it!

10. Dae Prickly Pear Hair Oil $36
11. Vanity Planet Facial Steamer $43 (55% off with code JULIAMARCUM) My favorite spa-like Sunday routine. It feels. so. good.

13. Athleta Leggings $89 It’s time she has an amazing pair of black leggings–she wears them every day, right?!
14. Agate Frame $49 To frame a picture of three generations
15. Opal Pebble Ice Maker $549 Wish list item!!
16. Coco & Eve Self Tanner Mousse Kit $43 My favorite FAVORITE self tanner (I wear Dark) that smells great and is super moisturizing.

Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

A reader recently asked me if I’m starting to fully embrace traditional style and whether we still consider our house to be a “modern Colonial” and why. It was a really great question and so timely — I had really just been thinking about my approach to this home and how my style has changed […]

Great list, minus the Always Pan – that is on EVERYONE’s list. Gave in to the hype and bought it for my husband for Christmas and it’s wildly overrated. Already not non-stick and has marks that don’t come off. Sure it looks nice on the outside but if you cook at all it will stain, quickly. There are far better options out there…
So many good ideas, adding those initial rings to my wish list too!
