We live in a very small city in the middle-of-nowhere Idaho. It’s where Chris grew up and where we happily call home now. There are two grocery stores, about 15 fast food options, Brigham Young University-Idaho, countless potato fields and a Super Walmart. Everything else is about 30-40 minutes away so we’re used to working with what we have.
When Walmart asked me to share a few things I’d recommend from their home department, I was anxious to look at our local superstore in a different light and, honestly, I was blown away and surprised–I think you will be too! It’s stylish and easy breezy on the wallet. Here are 28 things I want from Walmart right now!
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

There was a 10-year-period where everyone (including me) was doing black or almost-black rooms or walls. These days, we want something moody and romantic, but we want warmth back in our lives. We want the “grown-up” version of that look. If you are craving a rich, moody paint color that’s a warm, inviting neutral, then […]

should there be a grid with the pics? there are only links to each individual item on walmart’s site :(
That’s strange? Do you have an ad blocker installed? Sometimes that blocks images from appearing.
WOW love all of these pieces…I had no idea Wal-Mart had become so stylish! : )

WOW! So surprising that it’s such cute stuff!
Wow a super Walmart!? The town has grown since I lived there ?
Walmart has definitely stepped it up lately in the home department. I’m finding so many cute things! Hope the Pittsburgh reno is going well! Go Bucs!

We have that single bed in my daughters room in red. It’s is so cute and just perfect!
FYI – when I view from feedly – the pictures are of dresses – not your 14 items – when I clicked to view on website it is correct – not what you want to deal with during a kitchen remodel
What?! How weird. I have no idea why that would be.
Yeah that happened to me too! I love your picks though – surprised to see them at Walmart!
It’s the StyleWe ad banner that’s above your header that’s showing up in Feedly.
Yep, same here! :/
We have those wire canvas baskets for toys and they are SO sturdy! This collage is blowing my mind right now. Walmart?! Who knew?
Julia, all of the links seem to go to the wooden serving tray :(
All fixed! So sorry for the glitch.
Love this selection! I would never have guessed that some of those items were at Walmart. I will definitely have to take another look at the department the next time I’m there. Really great and affordable options!
