Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

A reader recently asked me if I’m starting to fully embrace traditional style and whether we still consider our house to be a “modern Colonial” and why. It was a really great question and so timely — I had really just been thinking about my approach to this home and how my style has changed […]

Ahem. Since pink only got a plurality, not a majority, doesn’t it follow to have a runoff between pink and mint green? #carestoomuch
ayyy a bold pink for a girls room is just too expected! Golden yellow for the win!
Ha! Yellow got my vote, mint got Chris’s and it looks like pink will take the cake.
I 150% agree!! Yellow would be awesome. Mint is my second choice.
I’m all for pink since the rest of the room is a lighter tone. Every girl should have a bright closet! So fun!!!
I pinked pink because if I was decorating a room for my daughters that’s what they would have pick at Greta’s age.
But really as much fun as it is voting for your color choice, I think you should give the options to Greta and let her pick. It’s her room after all!
These are all Greta-approved colors and she’ll enjoy helping paint no matter what color it is.
Special snowflake….remove the doors! I voted pink though…
I wish! Greta has emptied her entire closet out many times. Which is why we keep it locked now. Maybe down the road.
ps. When I first saw this post the colors & circles looked so familiar…then I realized it looks like the cover of this book I’m reading http://www.amazon.com/Dare-Dream-Do-Remarkable-Things/dp/1937134121 hahaha
Oh my goodness!! That’s nuts! Hahahha
Yay for reader’s choice! Pink would definitely be fun but I voted for the minty green…it’s beautiful!!! And I think it would work perfectly with the existing wallpaper/butterflies(I LOVE those by the way!)/and paint color.
I like the idea of pink in the closet because the room already has yellow. The pop will be unexpected! We love pink in this house! Can’t wait to see how this closet comes together. What a dream.
I voted for bold pink because every girl should have a pink closet but that’s not to say that I fully support minty green. We were going to paint my daughters room a pretty/relaxing minty green color but I got scared and decided on a taupe. I didn’t buy the paint yet so my mind may change again.
You sound like me! ;)
