We had thousands of nominations roll in for our first ever Homebody Awards and we thought we’d close out the year announcing the winners this year (along with the two runners up in each category because, so many times, it was so close!). We know first-hand how much work goes into each of these projects and the Homebody Awards were started to celebrate excellence across the board. I’m sure they’ll grow and evolve over the years but as we pulled up the nominees in each category, I was so humbled and as inspired to see so many of us working on our homes and sharing these intimate spaces with the world. You all deserve an award.
I encourage you to check out and follow all 12 of the winners as well as the runner ups–so much talent and inspiration to carry you (and your projects!) into 2020!

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners!!! We’re feeling so inspired!
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

The next project we’re checking off our 2023 project list is the mudroom! This used to be the laundry room until we built out a much bigger, better laundry room upstairs. So, in the meantime, this space has been exclusively Cricket’s room. Cricket will still have a special space here, but we’re transforming this dingy […]

Has Jenny Komenda revealed her kitchen besides that picture on Instagram? I read her blog and I have been waiting for it but maybe I missed it?
I tried to search her blog, and I couldn’t find anything either!
This is a wonderful way to share the love. So interesting to see the consistencies and trends throughout the different spaces. Can’t wait to see this continue year after year.
I love these awards! These are all such inspiring spaces!
Best bathroom design = 2/3 Wisconsinites!!! Way to go @ispydiy and @undecoratedhome!!!!
Jenny Komenda all over this post!!
This is such an amazing round up. And sooooo many beautiful spaces!!
Are there blog posts to go with the instagram pics so we can see the before and after? Trying to find the Komenda post about the kitchen winner. Seems like a blog post with all of the work would be the big winner over a single pic.
I loved this! I found a few that were new to me too.
I absolutely love how you promote other designers. I’ve found great accounts through you and I’m looking forward to checking out these new to me designers!
So honored to be a runner up!!! Love all the winners! So well deserved!!
LOVE THESE! Thanks so much for bringing these amazing designers and DIYers to all of our radar. So much inspiration!
