It’s official, our deck has never looked better! The Studio McGee team drove/flew up a week and a half ago to style our deck and shoot a few of their new outdoor pieces. The furnishings are ours but they layered in all of their beautiful new outdoor pillows, rugs, planters and some fun entertaining pieces. Take a peak! (I linked all the sources for you and everything is 20% with code SUNNYDAYS)

I love our new dining table and benches we got this year. They are so affordable but substantial. And the way they draped the table with that beautiful blue table linen was so inspiring to me. I always steam my cloths and runners and smooth them until they are straight, but I’m excited to try the casual nature of more of a tossed cloth.
Plants make everything more beautiful. They brought so many gorgeous vases and pots and planters and each one supported the scene even more.
The green and navy striped outdoor rug could not be more me. It was so fun chatting with Shea and the rest of the team. We’ve met once before and could have talked all night! Everyone was so talented, hands-on and warm.
Before they left, they did one more look with a light rug and brought in some pinks. Is this Idaho or the Hamptons? ;)

It was the most fun day and such a rewarding experience to see our deck styled so beautifully by people we admire so much! Studio McGee released a fun Vlog on their channel documenting the day (embedded below) if you want to see more! Which look do you like better?
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

The next project we’re checking off our 2023 project list is the mudroom! This used to be the laundry room until we built out a much bigger, better laundry room upstairs. So, in the meantime, this space has been exclusively Cricket’s room. Cricket will still have a special space here, but we’re transforming this dingy […]

This looks nice and all, but it made me realize how much more I like the way CLJ styled it; so much richer and homier. This version is falling a little flat for me. Julia, you have “the eye” for sure :)
I like the green rug, but in the pictures it is almost impossible to see – very similar tone to the deck, and the striping adds to the “is-the-deck” illusion. So I much prefer the white one. Overall though very beautiful, well done Studio McGee!
I like the second look better! Looks like an amazing place to relax with friends and family.
It’s beautiful! Love their pieces and of course your deck and that fireplace. What a fabulous space for summer!
