With all the excitement around the launch of our new Loloi collections, so many of you asked if we were going to be doing another mix and match post! Well you’re here! This is it.
Humphrey Forest / Multi Rug | Vase | Fall Stems | Candle | Dining Table | Pendant | Chest | Lamp | Shade | Vase | Living Room Sources
I have had the most fun playing musical rugs around my home and styling them every which way. I have more rug content planned for our house, but I’m taking it slow and enjoying every sweet moment of it. All 7 collections are unique and special to me, but each collection was designed to pair seamlessly with one another. So whether you have a Jules or Polly, you can roll out a Francis, Humphrey, or Chris to go with it! Here in the picture above we have a Humphrey in the dining room and a Francis in the living room. They are two cute peas in a pod. So if you’re in an open floor plan home or want to have multiple rugs on the same floor (and you should) here’s some Loloi rug pairings to reference!
I hope the key takeaway here is to have fun with mixing patterns! I love seeing some contrast in colors and patterns from room to room. For example, the Humphrey in the dining room is very bold and colorful with a heavy plaid pattern. I wanted the neighboring rug in the living room to be a bit more soft and subtle so the Silver Sky works so well. The same applies to walls! If you have a patterned wallpaper in one room, then the walls in the neighboring rooms could be either painted or have a more simple wallpaper. It’s all about balance! I also pay attention to colors and undertones so that rugs flow and connects from one room to the next. Here’s a bunch of pairings to get you started!
I could do this forever!!! What rug do you have in your house that you were hoping to see a pairing for?
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

We recently painted our study a dark, moody green color. This is after we first painted it a muddy green, then repainted it a blue-gray. I guess what they say is true; third time’s a charm! The journey was worth it, though, because I’m so in love with this glossy green in contrast with the […]

Congrats on your new rug collection – they are beautiful. I have a question about the Humphrey Ivory Multi. Is there dark green in it? Or are those horizontal stripes all black? I can’t quite tell!
Like a forest green! The colors are SO good.
Thanks!
Thanks!!! I’ve been waiting for a post like this! I have the Jules Terracotta and was wondering if you had more options to mix with it, other than what you had posted? Thanks 😊
Hi! I would recommend the Chris Dove Santa Fe. Terracott Multi has some orange and yellow tones in it that I think will be really complimented by the Dove Santa Fe. It’s shockingly beautiful in person.
Hi! I have the Loloi Layla Antique Moss rug in my dining room and I’d love to pair with with another Loloi from your collection in my living room! Any recommendations?
That would look so so good with the Humphrey Forest Multi! If you’re wanting more neutral the Chris Natural Sage has beautiful blue green tones to it.
I have the Jules Lagoon Brick, and I love the polly pairing but was wondering which other you would think besides the Francis natural pebble? Love all of these!
Hi Morgan! Either the Chris Ivory Denim or Ivory Slate would go great with those!
