Tiffany Blue and Champagne

November 5, 2012

We believe we should all love where we live.

We’re a couple of homebodies, working to uncover the home our home wants to be. And we’re so happy to have you here.

Befores, afters, mood boards, plans, failures, wins. We’ve done a lot of projects, and they’re all here.

We have a long-standing relationship with DIY, and love rolling our sleeves up and making it happen.

Even when you don’t want to rip down a wall, you can make that space in your home better. Right now.

This week, we’re celebrating our fourth anniversary!!  Our actual anniversary is on Thursday, but Chris took most of this week off so we can celebrate.  And by that I mean, hit up a lot of local restaurants and relax.  We are saving the big celebratory trip for our 5 year anniversary next year (Hawaii? Hope so!), and are content with just being together around town since Chris has had to travel so much lately.
In the spirit of anniversaries, I broke out the Tiffany blue and champagne acrylic paints to kick off the first paintings that have been officially added to the shop as of two minutes ago.

Although these two paintings aren’t exactly alike, they use the same colors and are in two different sizes.  The one on the left is a larger 24″x30″ stretched canvas, while the one on the right is a modest 16″x20″ unstretched–ready to be framed.  The champagne has a beautiful metallic quality that plays so nice with the warm turquoise and creamy whites in both paintings.

Interested in snatching one up or getting a better look?

Check out the larger one here.
And the smaller one here.

This week, there will be paintings of various sizes added every day.  And although we’ll be partying this week, we’ll still be checking in here on the daily with more paintings and some other things including a sneak peak at our next project.  Can I get a “Cheers”?!

A reader recently asked me if I’m starting to fully embrace traditional style and whether we still consider our house to be a “modern Colonial” and why. It was a really great question and so timely — I had really just been thinking about my approach to this home and how my style has changed […]
