At the end of 2011, my personal project was chalkboards. I was itching for a new medium, as I often do, and I decided to draw on a chalkboard every month. It was my creative outlet, if you will. By 2012, there was some interest in purchasing prints and after some hesitation, I decided to sell just 25 a month.
Since then, the image files have been on my computer collecting proverbial dust and a few weeks ago, someone asked if I would be selling prints again. I have thought about it and although I was reluctant at first (I just don’t have the time to go to the post office every day anymore) Etsy has a digital download feature that allows me to sell the image files directly to you. You can print it at any size up to a 16×20 at your own home or send them to your local printer–how could I say no?
I have created several digital download listings of chalkboard drawings of yore for just $10 each (I used to sell each print for $25) and the well-liked “Home is the Nicest Word There Is” print, too. They are available to download instantly after payment is received. I can’t thank you enough for supporting me throughout all of these years. Art is a large creative outlet for me and it is so wonderful to be able to share it with all of you, in one form or another, each day.
You can check out all 7 of the digital prints available right here.
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

We recently painted our study a dark, moody green color. This is after we first painted it a muddy green, then repainted it a blue-gray. I guess what they say is true; third time’s a charm! The journey was worth it, though, because I’m so in love with this glossy green in contrast with the […]

I’m glad you put these up– and so affordable! I’ll probably buy “home sweet home” once I figure out where to put it! I have always loved that one. Thanks for sharing your talents!!!
Beautiful! Right now I live in a small apartment with a teeny-tiny kitchen (no wall space at all) but when we get a house I’ll definitely be purchasing these to hang up!
I love that you’re featuring your artwork here. And that with two kids, you’re still making art! I have two art degrees (and a basement full of old paintings!) but haven’t made anything in a while – it’s hard to find/make the time (we have two kids as well). I really enjoy seeing all the creative work you’re doing, please keep sharing!
