Ok y’all, this is not a drill! Though, there are quite a few drills in this post, but crap, no, we don’t have time for lame puns because this is limited time only kinda stuff!

Remember my gift guide last week that looked like a freaking DeWalt sponsored post? I promise, all my heart, it wasn’t. I just really love their tools and guess what, Amazon gave me the scoop last night through a massively distributed email that a bunch of DeWalt tools are on CRAZY sale and I’m sharing it because seriously, it’s a great deal. I know this is such a weird post, but I tell Jules all the time how getting our DeWalt impact driver was the greatest thing that ever happened to our DIYs, and since a lot of you are on that same DIY path, this is your chance to score super high quality tools at, in some cases, less than half price. Here are the deals:

Dealt DC970K-2 18-Volt Compact Drill/Driver Kit – $89 (usually $189)

Dewalt DC970K-2

I actually just bought this one. Like, today. Because that is a crazy good deal, and this is the yin to my current driver’s yang. Sorry, that kinda sounded dirty but you know what I mean. The one I have is an impact driver only, so it doesn’t use regular drill bits. Crazy torque on it, but that is a limitation. This drill/driver has power, but also allows for drill bits. Winner.

DeWalt DCK280C2 20-Volt Max Li-Ion 1.5 AH Compact Drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit – $199 (usually $279)

dewalt-8Both yin and yang on this set. Impact driver and compact drill. Lots of power, too, with the 20-volt.

DeWalt DCD771C2 20V Max Lithium-Ion Compact Drill/Driver Kit – $99 (usually $149)

dewalt-2

Just another great drill/driver, with the 20V battery. Comes with the bag to help keep all your stuff together, which is nice.

DeWalt DCK421D2 20V Max Lithium-Ion 4-Tool Combo Kit, 2.0Ah – $329 (usually $766.69)

dewalt-3Are you kidding me? If you’re looking for a DIY kit that will last you for years and year, and tackle the vast majority of projects you come across, this is the kit. This is that big gift your husband would have tears in his eyes over.

DeWalt DWARA100 Right Angle Attachment – $16.99 (usually $35.76)

dewalt-4

Kind of an odd little tool, but a definite life saver in tight areas. For less than half the price, great stocking stuffer.

DeWalt DCV581H 18/20-Volt Max Cordless/Corded Wet-Dry Vacuum – $106.17 (usually $224.40)

dewalt-5Jules and I destroyed our first vacuum, using it on projects. A wet/dry vac is a life saver, and this is a perfect little guy, easy to take wherever you need him.

DeWalt Bare-Tool DC385B 18-Volt Cordless Reciprocating Saw – $99 (usually $180.92)

dewalt-6

Versatile, and often the only tool capable of accomplishing certain jobs (I’m looking at you, crawlspace ducts).

DeWalt DWD112 8.0 Amp 3/8-Inch VSR Pistol-Grip Drill with Keyless All-Metal Chuck – $58.46 (usually $115.76)

dewalt-7This is a corded drill, which may seem like a hassle, but if you’re doing things like mixing mortar for tile, this is the kind of drill you need. Not just want, need. The corded versions have more power and are less prone to burning out when mixing viscous materials. They’re also cheaper, and you don’t have to worry about running out of battery.

Ok, so random post, I get that. But genuinely, you need dependable tools to accomplish your DIY projects, and by far your most used tools will be your drills and drivers. When you get something sturdy and powerful, it makes the whole process a lot more enjoyable. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.

We could definitely use some of these!! I think something I could really benefit from a staple gun though!

  4. Shelby says:

AMAZING. Thanks for sharing! Getting my dad one of these sets since he “loaned” us his and has never seen it again. :)
