I’ve been finding the best things for our home on eBay lately for a steal, and I wanted to share a little bit about how I find them! Our most recent eBay purchase was this WORX all in one multi tool we have been using non-stop.
It’s a wheelbarrow, dolly, comes with all sorts of attachments to lift rocks, can hold lawn bags open, move gas tanks–it’s a work horse! We actually heard about it from a friend who loves theirs and I found that WORX had an eBay store and they were selling these multi-tools for half price!
A few things I always check before purchasing on eBay:
• The condition: This is ALWAYS listed very first. This wheelbarrow was listed as “New-Other” and then went on to explain that it was brand new but re-boxed in a plain brown box. Um, fine by me! Some things are listed as refurbished or used and then it generally goes into detail, so you always know what you’re getting and the condition it’s in. I’ve never been surprised.
• Ratings: There are two ratings to look at. Product ratings, which you can read just like any other online ratings right under the title of the product. And I also pay attention to seller rating! Especially when I’m buying from a third party person and not a store on eBay (like Wayfair, Dyson, WORX, etc). I’ve mentioned this before, but I LOVE to buy coupons on eBay for my favorite retailers, before making any large furniture purchase for our home. You can just search “______ coupon” Even if the coupon is $2-$5, I’ve saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars by doing this. The seller information, and rating, is always listed on the right hand side. In the example below, you can see that the seller has 100% positive feedback so I would have no hesitation buying this coupon.
• Lastly, in addition to always checking out the Home & Garden tab for everything from decor, to bedding to tools!, I have started making it a habit to check the “Daily Deals” tab at the very top top TOP left corner on eBay’s home page regularly.
It displays the best deals happening right now and I’ve been able to snag some pretty incredible things like a new lens for my camera for 30% off! Hopefully this helps you navigate eBay a little easier!
Here are a few things I’m eyeing right now that are marked way down:
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

We recently painted our study a dark, moody green color. This is after we first painted it a muddy green, then repainted it a blue-gray. I guess what they say is true; third time’s a charm! The journey was worth it, though, because I’m so in love with this glossy green in contrast with the […]

Oops just checked, price has gone up on amazon by $30 from when I bought it. eBay has the best price now.
We bought the same wheelbarrow on amazon for the same price. Such a great wheelbarrow that we purchased another one for our son- in- law.
Buying coupons on eBay is such a great tip! I never knew that was a thing to do. I just got one for Wayfair that will save me almost $20! So thank you!
