What would you call the style? What’s your favorite piece? Me–I have been drooling over that ottoman ever since I picked it out for her.

Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

We recently painted our study a dark, moody green color. This is after we first painted it a muddy green, then repainted it a blue-gray. I guess what they say is true; third time’s a charm! The journey was worth it, though, because I’m so in love with this glossy green in contrast with the […]

Did you quit doing moodboards?
yes. there’s just no time anymore!
I have searched and searched for a source. I can’t believe people don’t list sources. Try looking for a large-print orange fabric for a similar look. Here’s a great roundup: http://pinterest.com/clothandkind/the-textile-files-orange/
ooo i can’t decide what i love best…tie between the gorgeous rug, the ottoman, that amazing chair, and that gold lamp. love it!
Nicole, I FINALLY found the rug here: http://www.zincdoor.com/p/Arabesque-Coral-Rug__GV991359.aspx
I can’t find the curtains anywhere, but try searching for a large scale orange fabric for something similar. I can’t believe some people don’t put sources! Here’s a great round up of orange textiles that would work great. http://pinterest.com/clothandkind/the-textile-files-orange/
Lovely!! That ottoman is amazing (all of the furniture choices are!) and I’m especially intrigued by the large painting you are doing! You are so talented!! Love what you’ve done.
Any idea where those curtains came from? I love them!
ooooh, this is definitely a fav. I love those curtains from before…I have SEARCHED for a source for the curtains and the orange rug in that room, but she never listed them. Have you seen them anywhere else?? Great work, Julia!
I love this — especially the mix of patterns. You’ve got guts. I’m definitely commissioning a mood board when we move into our new house in July.
Love the color pops and rug. Man! I am ready for a new space and furniture!!! Some day….some day….
Thanks Julia, I just came back to leave a comment (because I forgot I already left one!) and saw your reply. I will definitely check it out. I did find another fabric that’s an orange damask, but I seriously am in love with this one. Maybe I’ll have to make some. :) I just love this mood board.
