Table | Chairs | Hanging Lantern | Vase | Faux Stems | Ribbon | Brass Candlesticks | Candle Tapers | Tree Art
Yesterday, Chris and I went around and blitzed as many spaces as we could. Hung lights that we’ve been putting off. Hung art that had been sitting in the corner for months. Moved around some furniture. Dressed up sofas with pillows. Laid rugs. I went around the house putting the finishing touches on our Christmas decor. It’s nice to be carving out these decorated moments throughout our home, even while it’s a so chaotic (especially while it’s so chaotic!). We have a big photoshoot at our home on Tuesday for a new product line that we have coming out next year (eee! can’t wait to spill the deets!) and there’s nothing like a deadline to kick us into high gear. Chris and Tristan hung this incredibly sized lantern–the larger version of the one in the bonus room–in the dining room. (I originally had a bubble light planned for the dining room, but I decided to use it in the music room instead) We also hung my beloved tree art, and it’s feeling more and more like us.
We’ve celebrated Christmas amidst construction chaos before. Two years ago, we put up our tree in our living room that was a conglomeration of studs, insulation, and drywall. I hung the stockings on studs, and we made the most out of it. This year feels like lightyears ahead of that!! We actually feel so at home here, and you know, maybe some renovation debris is a part of that. :)
Next week we’ll share more Christmas around the house moments, but I felt like dropping this little present early. Happy Holidays!

Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

We recently painted our study a dark, moody green color. This is after we first painted it a muddy green, then repainted it a blue-gray. I guess what they say is true; third time’s a charm! The journey was worth it, though, because I’m so in love with this glossy green in contrast with the […]

Your dining room looks lovely but didn’t you have a new rectangular table a couple of months ago? It had some really pretty fluting if I remember correctly. Just curious if you moved the table to another spot in your house?
We sadly sold it. I loved it so much but it just wasn’t working in this room. We finally got our round one back after our whole moving fiasco, and it works perfectly!
