It’s pretty typical for Greta to get sick or be sick on vacation, but she threw us a fastball and got sick BEFORE we leave tomorrow morning. Gah! I am not sure if it is a full-blown cold or allergies, but either way, being up all night isn’t gonna fly. Where are we headed? Well, all of the Bradley girls are reuniting in good ol’ Rexburg for the week(end). Victoria is flying in from Pittsburgh, Andi from Mexico, I am driving up from Utah and Patty and Krissy are congregating from their homes in Idaho Falls and Arco. It’s gonna be a party. It always is.

I’ll be sure to keep things updated on what projects I take on at my parent’s house (I know she’s been piling things up for me) as well as who wins Monopoly and who looks the best in our photoshoot scheduled for Friday evening. Us Bradley girls can’t get together without coordinating outfits and a camera snapping at some point. Chris will be joining me in Rexburg on Friday for the weekend and then I’ll be leaving him and Greta behind to head to Florida to be with my dear friend, Meagan, until Thursday.
I should probably get busy packing or something. Yeesh. But that would entail doing laundry first…I’d rather paint the entire kitchen than do laundry–hmm, not a bad ideaaaaaaa.
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

A reader recently asked me if I’m starting to fully embrace traditional style and whether we still consider our house to be a “modern Colonial” and why. It was a really great question and so timely — I had really just been thinking about my approach to this home and how my style has changed […]

Andi, every time we get pictures taken everyone always has an opinion about why someone else looks better and why that picture can’t be THE picture.
