My brain is struggling to comprehend the blur of events that took place in April because WOW–what a month. We revealed the high gloss built-ins in the study (spoiler alert, the whole room needs repainting now), featured my two sisters, Andi and Victoria, on the blog, conducted a very important test, threw a baby shower for Brooke, had the honor of speaking on a panel at High Point, and returned to High Point days later for the very exciting launch of our Shades of Light collection! What a rush. I’d like to say I’m recovering, but really I’m just pregaming for Taylor Swift this weekend and I can’t wait.
The MVP product from the month is definitely this jaw-droppingly gorgeous trash can that passes all of the vibe checks.
Here’s what I ended up wearing on the panel! 👆🏻
And here’s what I wore to our Shades of Light launch 👆🏻
This last week (or was it the week before?), with the help of many, we mounted this mirror on the wall in our entry, and it fits like magic with the bench. Playing musical furnishings around my house is one of my favorite things to do.
Linking all the top links and products from the month, and I think we have quite the lineup!
I used these on the day of the Shades of Light launch, and I’m wanting to use them more because the added volume is everything. Greta has been loving these as well!
I’m a sneakers gal through and through, but after work, I’ve been slipping into these, and they feel like a hug for your feet.
These are for all my tall girlies! This is the first pair of oversized mom jeans that actually fit my waist AND don’t leave my ankles bare. Size up one!
Couldn’t be a cuter can to toss your trash in!
I’ve been wearing this almost every day and it’s pretty enough to be a wedding ring!
I got these for the girls, and they’re the perfect size, even for cute little Polly!
Fun how something so simple really elevates our desk in our study.
I have these in white & black and will be wearing them all spring!
I ordered this so fast after Carley announced it! Would also make a great Mother’s Day gift.
Wore this to our Shades of Light launch!
This is a fan favorite from our new Shades of Light collection!
I normally have to shop online to find pants long enough to fit me, but I lucked out when I went “in-person” shopping for my outfit for the Loloi panel at High Point.
We tested a bunch of gold knobs this month, and this was the clear winner! Find the full list of knobs we tried here.
As loyal as I am to my everyday belt bag, it actually makes me so excited to have a “fancy” purse to grab when going out!
This bench has seen a few rooms in our house, but we’re currently loving it in our entryway underneath a big mirror!
Not going to lie… I feel like I found my color!
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

We recently painted our study a dark, moody green color. This is after we first painted it a muddy green, then repainted it a blue-gray. I guess what they say is true; third time’s a charm! The journey was worth it, though, because I’m so in love with this glossy green in contrast with the […]
