We got ourselves a fixer. We are under contract with the home of our dreams and the closing date is set for March 31st. We know that some people dream about building their own home with every upgrade you can get, we dreamt of a home we could get our hands a little dirty in. 90+ homes and almost 9 months later we found “the one.” It is a 1995 treasure that has 2,409 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The old school chandelier in the dining room is worth mentioning, as well. We walked in and got that feeling you are supposed to get (that we have never felt with any of the other homes) when you walk into your first house. We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.
