It’s my latest painting that I thought I finished this morning, and even blogged about it. And posted it (you quick readers may have got a glimpse at the first “finished” product). And then I saw the post and it didn’t feel right. So I deleted it. Put more time into the painting and it feels right now. It has texture and depth. It feels almost dark–I like that. There’s lots of layers of paint there. I’ll let you take a glimpse at what I believe to be the bottom layer:

We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. Wow, I so love this painting. I don’t know what it is – the scale, the soft background color, or the fact that it would fit so nice into a traditional or modern space. You did an AMAZING job – would never think to paint over that – but what a deal and a HUGE savings. I’m so impressed!!!
