I could barely pick it up. I was gagging and shaking and threw it in the cart as if it were alive because I just knew that it would look amazing on top of our light. Greta welcomed it with open arms. As in she couldn’t stop hugging it and giving it kisses. It was gross, but I had to keep reminding myself: this creepy thing isn’t real. I am pathetic in a haunted house. I literally cry and curl up in the fetal position and wait for someone to rescue drag me along.
Greta loves the spooky spider and is constantly pointing to it and jumping around in excitement. It is pretty exciting–this time of year, our costumes, the party. We are thrilled. And looking at a creepy crawly all day is just one hurdle I have to jump over. I gotta admit I feel pretty bad A that I’m facing that fear…and the spider decoration is aaawwweesssommmeee.

HOLY COW AMAZING price!!!! Jealous,….I Looooove peaches!
Yeah…I get creeped out when Steve even shapes his hand like a spider. I’m not there yet! Props to you though! It does look kind of amazing on that light!
Our light is SO sad, huh? We GOTTA make a new one soon. We are just researching the best products and think we finally have a method nailed down. The peaches were from a neighbor kid selling them in bulk for his cross country team. 25lbs for $15! Real nice.
No big peach phenom right now. We just love our smoothies, so the majority will go toward that.
Thanks Lindsay. I just drizzled it with a little lemon juice for preservation. I plan on putting them in freezer bags once they freeze, so they’ll be easier to snag a single peach instead of a whole clump.

Yum!! New talents are always in vogue-whether “spidery” or not!
Genius!!!!! Where on earth did you find beautiful peaches?? You’d think living so close to Georgia that we would get beautiful peaches. BUT NO. Our grocery stores have seriously slacked for good peaches. I’ve gotten them multiple times and have been disappointed every time!
I hate the spider. I do not like spiders ONE bit. Buuuuut for the sake of the month, I’m putting up some spiders too. (ps, your sad light fixture!)
Ohhhhhhhhh, I am intrigued. Are you really using all of the peaches for smoothies or is there some fabulous peach phenomenon in the works?

I HATE spiders! And even though I LOVE Halloween I can’t bring myself to decorate with any spiders bigger than my palm. I mostly decorate the outside of my house…you should check out the graveyard I do every year…I made the fence myself. (My blog hasn’t been updated in years but you can check out the post of how I made it here…www.ashleepeterson.blogspot.com. Scroll down a bit and you can see all my Halloween stuff.) Here is the link of the instructions should you feel the urge to make one yourself…it really wasn’t that hard, just a bit time consuming, and it really sets the mood for the holiday!
