Here’s hoping it passes soon and doesn’t hit me in the meantime. I have a full week ahead of me with lots to share. Starting with the finished hallway tomorrow. Oh yeah…I finished it.
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

A reader recently asked me if I’m starting to fully embrace traditional style and whether we still consider our house to be a “modern Colonial” and why. It was a really great question and so timely — I had really just been thinking about my approach to this home and how my style has changed […]

I LOVE Greta’s hair in that picture.
Her shirt is a hand-me-down. I told you about it before…remember….the one that I won’t let her wear it out of the house because it is embarrassing. (*cough*mymomishot*cough*)
Precious picture!! I wanna know what is on her shirt…I could make out “mom.” Ah I’m dreading for Brin’s first stomach flu, and I know it is coming…only due time before she catches it from the nursery!!
Ugh they look miserable and I feel their pain. It got to me too. On the way home! We were driving and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. All last night I felt like crap and then the true sickness hit me this morning. All day I have moved pretty slowly as every inch of my body aches (and the other not so pleasant things that you mentioned above to not be mentioned above… wait what?!!). I had to go to church to be the librarian because my partner had surgery this weekend. So I just sat in the library for 2 hours watching the clock. I hope you don’t get it. It’s horrible. But anyways… love you and miss you already. Thanks again for doing so much work for the reunion.
Hmm, sounds like we shared too much! Interesting that none of the rest of my ‘clan’ has had any problems. I’m sure the timing of ‘detoxing’ didn’t help things. So sorry!
hahah o yeah “we did it, we did it, it’s DONE!” that picture is presh. Hope they get well soon Jules
