A good quality area rug can transform a room–and we have a lot of rooms to transform in this house.  So, when RugsUSA offered up a freebie of my choice, I jumped on that!  Actually, I played it cool and professional until it arrived this morning.  Then Greta and I jumped up and down on it—ya know, to test things out and form a valid review.

The verdict:   It’s hands down (!) my new favorite area rug.  I luurrrvvee the unexpected raised texture in the detailing–which is totally unique.  The design is classic, the colors are neutral and it is bound to add loads of visual interest to any room.  We are thinking it would be perfection in our master bedroom, especially after we get some rich dark hardwood floors to replace the old carpet.  Or maybe even in the dining room.  OOOooo….I’ll have to try that one once Chris gets home.  But for now, some proof at how truly versatile this carpet is:
