It’s no secret that we are obsessed with Ikea.  But what may be a secret to some is their “as is” section after the showroom…and the market place…and the warehouse–in the front corner of the store.  We visit this section OFTEN and always walk away with a steal and a half.  After all, we can’t pass up a handmade basket with a lid for 50% off just because it was a display model, right!?  So–we’re passing it on to you.  We are going to work together on this once a month, okay?  We get to keep making trips to Ikea and finding these gems and you get to win them.  Do you love it?  You love it.

This month, feast your eyes on the very handmade basket we just talked about:

diameter 5 in; height 6 in
This would look amazing on a shelf above your bed, on a mantle, a desk, a countertop; mix it in to your centerpiece, set it atop a stack of magazines on your bookcase….this is truly a gem and we want someone to love it as much as we do.
So, lets get down to the 411 on winning this little pretty:
  • To enter:  Leave a comment on this post about something you would stash away in this basket.  (Get creative, we love a good laugh!)
  • Giveaway closes:  Thursday, January 20th at 9 pm MST
  • The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Friday. Good luck!

Only one entry per person.  Prize only ships to 48 contiguous states.  (We still love you Alaska and Hawaii).

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED,
BUT KEEP CHECKING BACK FOR OUR NEXT ONE.

I would love to stash some sort of kid crap in there. I swear the kid stuff that clutters my house is everywhere.

  141. Brittney says:

I would love to stash away diapers and wipes because I always need them in the living room, but they aren’t very attractive!

  142. Ashley says:

I would put it on my bathroom counter and hide all of my toiletries in it.

  143. Jill says:

I would put it on top of my entertainment center and just have it be a gorgeous decoration! No stuffings needed!

  144. angela says:

I would put my sons crayons and other small toy in it! Great for the living room to hide all the toys, so it can still feel like an adult home!

  145. Melissa S says:

I would stash candy in the basket for guests to take a little treat when they visit!

  146. I would stash all my lotions and cosmetics in here!

Jules you are so cute, look at you! I think that I might have to use it for my pet cobra, not a lot of people know that I am a snake charmer, one of my many talents~

  148. Umm… all my cluttery crap could be stashed away in it! Love it! :)

  149. d says:

I’d love to put this in my living room next to some random bottles for decor. I’d then stash in it the figurine {that isn’t my style} which we got for our wedding from a friend of my MIL, so I easily could pull it out to display when certain guests arrive ;)

  150. We’d put our Christmas card in it.

  151. Michelle says:

I would stash the remote control’s so maybe I can find them! ;)

  152. I have a ton of toiletries and getting ready supplies that could be stashed away in it. I love it!

  153. Camille says:

Oh what wouldn’t I stash in the basket :)

  154. ashley says:

I would put a piece of my husband’s Lakers gear in there so I wouldn’t have to see it!

  155. Meredin says:

I think it would look great in my home office. It’s got to be better than some of the other stuff sitting in there….

  156. Julia says:

SO cute! I LOVE this. I would use it to organize my crafting supplies. I am always looking for cute places to hide all my little pieces.

  157. This would look amazing I think in our bathroom. On the counter. Not sure what I would put in it…but I’m preeeeetty sure I’d find something perfect!!!!!
