Chris loves Julia, the blog, unofficially (officially?) started back in 2009 as a platform for me (Julia) to write and share photos and stories with family members and close friends. In April 2011, when Chris and I bought our first home, a fixer, the real fun/work/blog began. We started filling our evenings working on our house and now we blog five days a week about the happs around here--home decor, design, diy with an occasional foodie post from Chris thrown in. We have been packing in the projects, sharing daily details of our DIY feats and failures (we're still learning here), all with our toddler, Greta, rootin' us on--and these days, it turns out a lot more than just our close friends and family are along for the ride.
So, welcome; to our virtual home, which is consequently all about our actual home and our lives in it. I can be chatty, but we hope--really, really hope--you'll chat right back. Feel free to share your comments, ideas, links and questions in the comments section where we can discuss all things decor or art or paint colors or toddlerdom or anything else--together. We have learned/are learning to live by the words, "Be Open To Whatever Comes Next" and are sincerely grateful to you for reading and sticking around to see what that next is.

ReplyDeleteI've stopped by a few times before and this is the first time I've seen the new blog design. It's beautiful! I guess I should stop by more often ay? We're working on a new theme ourselves at the moment, but I'm going to check out Blog Milk too.. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! Do it. Their templates are fantastic.
DeleteIt's lovely. I hope I become a guru someday
ReplyDeleteHello, I came here from my Google Analytics. I saw your blog as the source for some visits to my Etsy shop and was curious about it. So as long as I am here, I want to say hello.
ReplyDeleteThat girl is beautiful, look at her hand.
