Last month, I teamed up with my talented sister to add the sweetest print there ever was to our Etsy shop. And this month, we’re giving one away.
The great author, Laura Ingalls Wilder, said “Home is the nicest word there is” and we couldn’t agree more. This print was designed with falling onto your bed, a home-cooked meal, snuggles on the couch and familiar smells and faces all rolled into one.
Our wood grain Shaker cabinet fronts were designed for busy, high-traffic homes like ours. Clad with durable textured thermofoils, this line is compatible with Sektion, Akurum, Godmorgon, and Besta cabinets from IKEA. It's the perfect, practical way to add the warmth of wood to all the rooms of your home.
We have teamed up with Loloi to create a line of rugs that are as affordable as they are beautiful. This collection houses a great mix of traditional and modern rugs, in cottage-y colorways, as well as vintage-inspired beauties that you’ll want to roll out in every room.
We partnered with Stuga on a line of hardwood floors — The Ingrid is really livable, and the color is very neutral. It doesn’t lean warm or cool, it’s that just right in-between. We have really loved putting it everywhere in our house. It’s the best jumping-off point for design, no matter your interior style. In addition to being beautiful, Ingrid is really durable — we have three kids, and we always have a home construction project going on. Ingrid stands up to it all.

A reader recently asked me if I’m starting to fully embrace traditional style and whether we still consider our house to be a “modern Colonial” and why. It was a really great question and so timely — I had really just been thinking about my approach to this home and how my style has changed […]

I love the word (if you can call it that) “tuckle.” I heard it in a Dave Matthews song years ago, “when the world ends, you tuckle yourself up with me,” and I loved it. It might not be found in any dictionary, but I like to think of it as cuddling, tickling, snuggling … good stuff.
I follow you on Facebook!
My sweet husband and I are 31 short days from celebrating our one year anniversary… The sweetest words I’ve ever heard were “I do.” :)

Going right along with home would be family.

Sweetest word in my book is happy! I just love being happy and think that life is too short not to be happy. Live life to the fullest and be happy! What makes me happy? My hubby, my home, my pups, reading blogs, my job, art :)….love this print!

I forgot to talk to Ry yesterday but I wanted to order this print! Gotta discuss this one with the man first. BUT maybe…… (wink)…….I can win it!
The sweetest word I think is when Brinley says, “mommy.” Granted, by 5pm, I am exhausted from hearing it because it is always followed by something I need to clean up, fix, make, read, or sing, but still…..her little bird voice is so adorable.
I think the nicest word is “YES”!

Saudades. Which is a word in my mother language ( portuguese ) that is unique, there is no translation in any other language, but means the feeling you have when you miss someone.
