Since Chris is off work all week, our 4th festivities got a head-start and will most likely last through the weekend. We partied yesterday with Chris's family--all 36 of them (!), where Greta saw fireworks for the first time last night (I have never seen her that excited. ever) and held onto a flag until she fell asleep.
She's a regular yankee doodle dandy, that one. Happy Independence Day. Here's to freedom...and fun...and barbecues...and fireworks. Go get 'em!

ReplyDeleteI am SO shocked that Utah is still allowing fireworks to go on with all the fires going on!!! Seriously!!!
I wish we had family close :-( Everyone is doing stuff with their family so we are bumming it alone. However, we do have a pretty stellar dinner menu lined up along with a peach cobbler. Yuuum!
I know! There are a lot of laws and rules in place with fireworks this year, but it still scares me to death. Save me some peach cobbler! That sounds so good!
