Although my studio is under construction, the painting must go on–on my dining room table. Eeks! I am currently working on a series of eleven paintings–all with ikat-inspired vertical brushstrokes. My first one sold quickly, which gave me the confidence I needed to continue with the series.
Today, the second painting is officially available. This one has nods to a peacock or the deep sea as it laced with deep greens and bright blues. Although it is only the second painting in the series, I have already deemed it my favorite. The colors. Ooohh, the colors.
