Is it really the 7th already?  I admit, I was a bit late getting this month’s drawing done and to the printers, but here it is (!):  

Why a cow butcher chart?  I specifically remember watching one episode of Good Eats when Alton Brown was going over the different cuts of meat that come from a cow and I remember thinking, “That would make for some great kitchen art.”  While researching for this drawing, Chris had a good time telling me why this chart is indeed so useful–it gives a visual of why some cuts of meat are more tender than others and why some are better for certain dishes.

As for me, I like that it looks good with the dishes:
