While visiting my parents over the holiday, my mom gave me some chalk that she had stored away for decades. It is vibrant and smooth and made this month's drawing even more enjoyable.
Why fish? I felt like it, I guess. I don't remember ever drawing fish before and boy, was it fun to break out almost every color chalk I had. Also I didn't want you to get too used to season/month specific drawings. Here are the goods:
Happy January, friends.

ReplyDeleteI can't even come up with words to tell you how cool I think these are. Every month you blow me away. How long does it take you to complete? Do you take the chalkboard down and work on it? Or do you sit in the room and do it there? Beautiful fish and I love the changing art.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jane! Each drawing takes about 2.5 hours and I just work right in the laundry room in the evening after Greta goes to bed. :)
