Here’s a little glimpse at my side of the desk as we’re all waiting patiently for the big reveal tomorrow (Me?  Not-so-patiently)  In other news, another big reveal has been made.  Pantone announced the color of the year for 2012:
Tangerine Tango.  Which fits in pretty nicely with my new fruit bowl.  Maybe I’ll add a few more pops of this punchy color in home accessories over the year.  Definitely doable. I failed miserably at incorporating 2011’s Honeysuckle, but I am still very much into 2010’s Turquoise.  Who isn’t?
Do you see Tangerine Tango working its way into your home this year?  Is anyone else mildly obsessed with sharpies?  Just looking at that photo makes me want to wrap presents in kraft paper and then decorate it with colorful doodles.

  1. I’m also still in love with turquoise, but this colour will suit it nicely! I already have little orange-y touches.

P.S. Our desk is D-O-N-E (sorry, not trying to brag) so come over and SEE!! I am super duper excited. Jealous it’s Hubby’s desk. Maybe a tradesies is in order.

  2. Oooo I love sharpies. I need to get some more fun colors. Brinley is totally into colored pencils right now which is a mess-free ultra fun for her drawing time.

I am tooootally out of the loop of this “color of the year” thing. Maybe I need to jump on the bandwagon!

  3. Can’t WAIT to see it!! And I LOVE colored sharpies, I think I might have to add that to my stocking idea list for Jeff. :)

  4. It’s like Christmas Eve and Santa’s bringing me a great big reveal of your house! I can’t wait to see it tomorrow! And I’m diggin’ the Tangerine Tango.
