October 2011 Chalkboard Drawing

Chris built me a very large chalkboard (3′x5’6″) in our laundry room so I would have a large canvas for revolving art–drawing, painting, etc. is a pretty big passion of mine.  Every month I will be doing a new drawing.  Even if October is almost over, I didn’t want the chance to pass me by to draw something a little spooky:

Amazing. I have some serious Halloween envy. I’d take a print of that.

Wow Jules! Is it pretty smooth? Easy to draw on?

It is REALLY smooth. I don’t know the type of wood that he used for the front, but it is a very, thin, veneer type thing. The hardest part is definitely drawing large–especially in such a small space. I couldn’t really stand back and see where I was very easily. I am sure it will get easier with practice and time. :)
