Giveaway Gold: A Rejuvenation Creation

Love, Passion and Obsession.  Do I have your attention?  That's how Rejuvenation describes their relationship with lighting.  The company is built on a passionate love affair with history, architecture, and bringing back the best lighting ever made.  Ever.  They pride themselves on authenticity and great design.  This is exactly where the home decor trend is turning.  It's all about restoring right now.  And I have to say, I am having quite the affair myself.  We replaced the old, gold, unattractive sconce in our stairway with something new--but classic....so it's not so squeaky-white-sneakers-on-the-first-day-of-school.

The best part?  We got to customize it to our liking all the way down to the light bulbs.  After browsing through all of the different styles (they have everything from Victorian to Mid-Century Modern), we settled on this fixture from the Period Basics collection.  

Although the old brass was charming, an oil-rubbed bronze finish would jive better with our decor.  So we changed the finish and the shade finish to reflect that.  We liked the shade shape just the way it was, but if we didn't love it, it could be changed with the click of a button.  Lastly, we added some Tungsten-Filament Bulbs for the full effect:
