Am I a little embarrassed that this is what is welcoming people into my home? A little. It’s so boring. That blue welcome mat was there when we moved in and I never thought to change it. The door knocker has the previous homeowner’s name engraved on it. There are discolored, dingy hangers everywhere that were used to hang wreaths I am guessing. Those gold numbers are ick.
It’s about to get a facelift. Or maybe it already has–depending on when you are reading this. Paint swatches were taped up all weekend, and after changing my mind 3 or 4 times–Chris and I both agreed on a color.

Ooooo- I hope it’s one of the bright, cheery yellow colors! But red is always a classic- can’t go wrong either way!
