Befores, afters, mood boards, plans, failures, wins. We’ve done a lot of projects, and they’re all here.

We have a long-standing relationship with DIY, and love rolling our sleeves up and making it happen.

Even when you don’t want to rip down a wall, you can make that space in your home better. Right now.

I took a quick trip to Idaho to visit my parents while Chris holds the fort in Utah and remains busier than ever.  While there, I realized how much of my art my parents have on display in their house.  While I tend to do more abstract pieces for our home, my parents have a good collection of some of the more realistic art I have done over the years.  And they have it hung all over their house like proud parents.
These peppers are done with oils.  They hang in the kitchen.

This grove of trees I did in acrylics and Chris helped refinished the frame. I gifted it for Christmas a couple years ago.

This is probably the first watercolor I ever did.  I kinda have a thing for trees, I guess.  This is hanging in my mom’s office.

I did this large stretched canvas in oil of winter trees a few years back.  It is probably one of my favorite paintings I have done.  It hangs in the guest room.

An ink drawing of my mom and her brothers and sisters at the beach.  It hangs in the master bathroom.

Beach umbrellas in watercolor also hanging in the master bath.

I did these three 9″x9″ acrylic paintings for Christmas 2010.  They are the three homes my parents have owned.  They loved the gift and they hang side by side in the dining room.
Do you gift a lot of handmade stuff? I find it so rewarding.  Although, I definitely need to do better at taking pictures of my art before giving it away.  I have lost track of a lot of pieces–and by now it is all over the country….better plan some trips. :)

Yes they are proud parents of your art work. I gifted my first DoublClik print last summer, and I think this past Spring Break it was still on the lower shelf of the table by the door. By the shoes…
